William (Bill) Raymond Burgholzer

William (Bill) Raymond Burgholzer, 86, of Leland, Illinois, went home to our Lord and Savior on Saturday November 23 2024. 

He was born on December 14 1937 to William Sylvester and Louise Catherine Burgholzer in Aurora, Illinois spending most of his life as a resident of Sugar Grove, Illinois, later retiring to Pinellas County, Largo, Florida.

William started as a Carpenter at 16 years old eventually leading to his own business – Burgholzer Construction. He was an active member of the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, the Sugar Grove American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Largo, Florida. 

William is survived by siblings: Janet Lawrence, Marie Heinking, and Mary Worth; 6 children: Brian, Bruce, Michelle, Anthony, Deborah and James;19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

William is preceded in death by Barbara (Kitty)and siblings: Elaine DeHann and Kay Manning. 

A memorial service will commence at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 30th at Plano Methodist Church – 219 North Hale Street, in Plano, Illinois 60545 with Pastor Stevan Saunders.
